Kaplan, who received a 1992 Tony nomination for his performance as Jason in the original Broadway cast of Falsettos, will be part of the Hangar Theatre's upcoming production of the Harold Pinter drama Betrayal.

Directed by Wendy Dann, the Pinter work will play the Ithaca, NY, venue July 22-Aug. 1.

"The passionate drama," according to press notes, "is a fresh retelling of a woman’s illicit relationship with her husband’s best friend." "Pinter's innovative structure and spare language paint an unflinching and riveting portrait of deception," said director Dann in a statement.

The production will feature set and costume design by Pete Rush and sound design by Eric Watkins with original music composed by Ryan Rumery.

The Hangar Theatre is located 2 miles outside of Downtown Ithaca, New York, at the Treman Marina entrance of Cass Park. For tickets call (607) 273-4497, or visit www.hangartheatre.org.
