Falsettos Tony nominee Barbara Walsh will make her solo concert debut on Monday, Dec. 2 to benefit the Transport Group theatre season.

Walsh, who also starred on Broadway in Big, will offer an 8 PM concert at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on Christopher Street. With musical direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell, Walsh will perform an eclectic array of material, including songs by Joni Mitchell, Michael John LaChiusa, William Finn, Jacques Brel, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Ellen Weiss and Paul McCartney. The singer actress will be backed by Campbell on piano, Leenya Rideout on violin and Michael Blanco on bass.

Barbara Walsh received Tony and Drama Desk nominations and the Los Angeles Ovation Award for her work as Trina in William Finn's Falsettos; her other Broadway credits include Big, Blood Brothers, Nine and Rock 'N Roll ! The First 5000 Years. Off-Broadway she has been seen in Forbidden Broadway and Birds of Paradise, and her regional credits include The Most Happy Fella, Houdini, Exactly Like You, A Streetcar Named Desire and Ragtime. Walsh's screen credits feature roles in "Life with Mikey" and "Law & Order."
