Ashmanskas plays Leon, the producer of Erica Kane's talk show, "New Beginnings." Kane is played by Emmy Award winner Susan Lucci, who made a guest appearance during a performance of the now-closed Fame Becomes Me.

Brooks Ashmanskas made his Broadway debut in the revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. His other Main Stem credits include the revival of Gypsy, where he played both Mr. Goldstone and Pastey, as well as Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, The Producers, Dream and Little Me. Off-Broadway he has appeared in Wise Guys, Labor Day, Songs for a New World, London Suite and It Changes Every Year.
