It was only Oct. 13, 1997 when Miss Saigon passed My Fair Lady to become the tenth longest-running musical in Broadway history.

Flash-forward to Feb. 2, 1998 and Miss Saigon moves up another notch, past the original Hello, Dolly!, to become the ninth longest running musical in Broadway history. Dolly ran 2,844 performances at the St. James Theatre.

Cats, of course, recently hit the top spot, racking up 6,138 performances, June 19. Following in the list are A Chorus Line, Oh! Calcutta!, Les Miserables, The Phantom Of The Opera, 42nd Street, Grease (the original production), Fiddler On The Roof, 1991's Miss Saigon and Hello, Dolly!.

The Broadway musical, by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, has already grossed $242 million domestically and has been seen by more than 13 million people internationally. Currently in the cast are Luoyong Wang, Deedee Lynn Magno, Matt Bogart, Milton Craig Nealy, Anastasia Barzee, Juan P. Pineda and Chloe Stewart.

If you're one of the 13 million who've seen the musical, why not helicopter over to the Miss Saigon website? You can get to it at http://www.miss-saigon.com. The logo, and a shot from the famous helicopter scene are on the front page. You can also get to sites for "Tickets & Tours," "Press" (including photos and news items, such as Saigon's sixth anniversary this past March), "Quiz," a "Forum" for posting comments, a "Gift Shop," and "Origins" of the show.
Questions on the quiz include, "How much does the Ho Chi Minh Statue weigh?
(Ans. 600 pounds).

T3 Media, which has also done websites for Les Miz and The Tony Awards On Line, designed the site, which also includes video clips and music. Also on the screen are cast lists and synopses in English, German and Dutch (the three languages in which Miss Saigon is currently performed globally).
