News Fiasco Theater's Ten-Person Into the Woods Will Venture Off-Broadway for Roundabout's 2014-15 Season Roundabout Theatre Company will present Fiasco Theater's acclaimed production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Into the Woods that was seen at New Jersey's McCarter Theatre Center last spring.

Directed by Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld, who directed the show in 2013, performances will begin in winter 2015 at the Lara Pels Theatre.

"With only 10 actors, one piano and boundless imagination, this witty and wildly theatrical re-invention is Into the Woods like you've never seen it before!" according to Roundabout's website. "Mind the wolf, heed the witch and honor the giant in the sky at this extraordinary musical about the power of wishes and what really happens after they come true."

The ensemble at McCarter included Jessie Austrian (The Importance of Being Earnest), Noah Brody, Paul L. Coffey, Andy Grotelueschen, Liz Hayes, Claire Karpen, Jennifer Mudge, Patrick Mulryan, Ben Steinfeld (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) and Emily Young (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson).

The design team included Tony Award-winning set designer Derek McLane, costume designer Whitney Locher, lighting designer Tim Cryan, sound designer Darron L West, vocal coach and Alexander Technique by Kathryn Armour. The production stage manager was Cheryl Mintz with assistant stage manager Marcy Victoria Reed.

Casting and creatives for the Off-Broadway staging have not yet been announced.
