News Finding Neverland Writer Enlisted for New Film Adaptation of George Orwell's "1984" James Graham, who wrote the book for the Broadway-bound musical Finding Neverland, will pen the screenplay for a new film adaptation of the George Orwell novel "1984," according to Deadline.com.

Sony Pictures has enlisted Paul Greengrass to direct; Scott Rudin is producing with Gina Rosenblum.

"1984," Orwell's story about a man whose daily work is to rewrite history, was made into a film directed by Michael Radford in 1984. It starred John Hurt.
