Larry Fineberg's futuristic play about an unemployed clairvoyant caught up in passionate romance, corporate intrigue and impending death has just extended its world premiere, now running through June 19 instead of the previously announced May 22. The Playwrights' Arena mounting began previews April 8 and opened April 10, directed by Mark Bringelson.
The Clairvoyant features D.G. Bannon, Dan Bell, Elizabeth Cava, Sarah Lilly, David Shofner and Garrett Swann.
Fineberg is a Canadian playwright whose credits include Stonehenge, Hope, Human Remains, Montreal and Tickle Me. As resident playwright for the Stratford Festival, his drama Eve starred Jessica Tandy and won the Chalmers Award for Best Canadian Play.
Playwrights' Arena is a company dedicated to discovering and nurturing Los Angeles playwrights. It is headed by Jon Lawrence Rivera.
