News Fiona Shaw to Join Cast of HBO's "True Blood" Tony Award nominee Fiona Shaw, who will next appear on the New York stage in Ibsen's John Gabriel Borkman at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, is set for a regular role on the popular HBO series "True Blood" beginning next season, according to deadline.com.

Shaw will play Marnie, a shy and secretly self-hating storefront medium who is inhabited by a powerful witch's spirit.

A Tony Award nominee for Medea and a London stage regular, Shaw is also known for playing Aunt Petunia in the "Harry Potter" films. She is currently appearing in John Gabriel Boorkman at Dublin's Abbey Theatre; the production, also starring Alan Rickman and Lindsay Duncan, will come to Brooklyn this winter.
