The First Amendment Improvisational Theatre group members will reunite April 24 for a fund-raising talent show at the St. Luke Episcopal Church in Metuchen, New Jersey.
Made famous in the 1980's, First Amendment became a starting point for well-known actors including Bruce Willis and Kathy Kinney (Mimi on "The Drew Carey Show") as well as a group with which comedy greats like Sid Caesar, Imogene Coca and Robin Williams performed. The group was awarded several "Best Comedy Group in NYC" citations for their brand of improvisational shows based on audience suggestions.
Former members Chris Grabenstein, Thom Carrozza, Nancy Lombardo, Joe Perce and Bil McLaughlin will be on hand for the reunion, with Ellen Mandel providing improvisational piano accompaniment.
First Amendment will be the final act in the Fund-Raising Talent Show for St. Luke's Youth Group. Tickets are $10 and can be ordered by calling (732) 548-4308. St. Luke's is located at 17 Oak Avenue.
