News First "Live at 54 Below" DVD, With Melissa Errico, Released Today Broadway Records releases the first in its "Live at 54 Below" DVD series Dec. 15. Titled "What About Today? - Live at 54 Below," the recording captures Tony nominee Melissa Errico’s recent performance at the supper club.

The DVD is available on Amazon and at BroadwayRecords.com.

The concert features songs by celebrated composers Stephen Sondheim, Burt Bacharach and Stephen Schwartz, among others. "Countering romantic and ethereal moments with Michel Legrand and Jule Styne ballads," state press notes, "she lets her hair down more than once, including falling to the floor to flirt with a fan and dancing through the crowd."

The set mixes 1970's rock numbers with favorite songs from well-known film soundtracks like "The Thomas Crown Affair" and "The Summer of '42." During the show, Errico recalls past Broadway productions like My Fair Lady and Dracula and sings musical theatre classics like "Meadowlark," "Getting Married Today" and "What Did I Have That I Don't Have?"

In an earlier statement for the solo CD recording, "Melissa Errico: What About Today? - Live at 54 BELOW," which was released Oct. 16, Errico commented, "This was the most dynamic set list I have ever sung thanks to my wonderful director and the band of a lifetime. I juggled some big songs in some high heels that week!"

"It was a musical party," she continued. "I hope people will enjoy."
