The world premiere of Martín Zimmerman’s solo play On the Exhale began previews February 7 at Roundabout Theatre Company. The monologue piece, which examines gun violence in America, stars Marin Ireland (reasons to be pretty), with direction by Tony nominee Leigh Silverman.

The newest work from Narcos writer Zimmerman looks at gun violence in American through the unique lens of a liberal college professor pushed to violence, played by Ireland.

On the Exhale is playing Roundabout’s Black Box Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. The show will officially open February 19 and is scheduled to play through April 2.

The Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre is located at 111 West 46th Street, New York. For tickets and more information visit roundabouttheatre.org.
