News Flower Drum Song Featured on New Year's "Today Show" Jan. 1 Folks recovering from New Year's Eve (and those not yet in bed) can catch Lea Salonga, David Henry Hwang and Sandra Allen on the New Year's Day edition of NBC's "The Today Show."

Salonga, who stars as the Chinese refugee Mei Li, and Hwang, who wrote a new book for the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein show, will talk about their involvement with the new Broadway revival as will Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization President Theodore Chapin. Allen and the cast will perform "Fan Tan Fannie," the first act nightclub number, which employs traditional Chinese fans as dance props.

"The Today Show" broadcasts on WNBC, Channel 4, from 7 to 10 AM in New York City. Check local listings for other times and channels.
