The 4 PM reading will serve as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Flutter By's is described as "a play that pushes the suspension of disbelief envelope. Wildly twisting and unpredictably funny, it is set in turbulent New York circa 2001 and examines the lives of the O’Neil family and the lives of their son Anthony’s childhood friends."
In addition to DeLaria, Campbell and Gillett, the cast will include Michael Cunio, America Olivo, Lou Liberatore, Ann Dowd, Brian Kerwin, Annette Hunt, Gerardo Gudino and Cindy Cheung.
Admission for the reading is $20.
DeLaria will also perform House of David, an evening of David Bowie songs, at Smoke on Jan. 5, 2012, at 7 PM. Later that evening she will join the Dirty Martinis at 9 PM and 10:30 PM.
