News Flyover, USA, a Pulse-Taking of the Midwest Male, Makes World Premiere May 21 Playwrights Dennis North and Joseph Zettelmaier's collection of real-life stories from men of the Midwest, packaged as Flyover, USA: Voices from Men of the Midwest, begins a world-premiere run May 21 at mid-Michigan's Williamston Theatre.

The production "will explore the stories, journeys and lives of men from the Midwestern United States and ask the question: 'What is it to be a man in the 21st Century Midwest?'," according to notes from the Equity company near Lansing, MI. Flyover, USA features Tobin Hissong, John Lepard and Scott Norman. Director is John Seibert.

The production includes set and lights by Daniel C. Walker and costumes by Melanie Schuessler. Rochelle P. Clark is the stage manager.

The official opening night is May 29. Performances play to June 14.

The staging is part of Williamston's original series, "Voices From the Midwest," which began with last season's award-winning Maidens, Mothers and Crones: Voices from Women of the Midwest.

Performances will play Thursday and Friday at 8 PM, Saturdays at 3 PM and 8 PM, and Sundays at 2 PM.
