PlayBlog Footage of Donna McKechnie's "My Musical Comedy Life" Future Concert Plans Revealed (Video) Tony Award-winning A Chorus Line star Donna McKechnie brought her one-woman show "My Musical Comedy Life" to the Laurie Beechman Theatre July 28. NY1's "On Stage" got a special look at the show, including McKechnie's performance of the Bye Bye Birdie hit "A Lot of Livin' to Do," with rewritten lyrics to reflect the triple-threat performer's first impressions of New York when she moved there in 1959.

The "On Stage" segment also reveals that McKechnie is planning to do another concert act with Tony Award winner Lilianne Montivecchi and Kaye Ballard, her friends and co-stars from the Paper Mill Playhouse production of Follies. Tony winner Tommy Tune will direct the concert, which is set to premiere in Santa Fe, although no date appears to have been set.
