News For the Record: Boogie Nights Will Feature Anderson Davis, Ginifer King, Max Ehrich and More For the Record, the "one-of-a-kind Hollywood" musical revue conceived and directed by Chris Bratten and Shane Scheel, will continue with a showcase of the movies of P.T. Anderson in Boogie Nights, beginning June 7 at Los Angeles' Rockwell.

For the Record: Boogie Nights will play a limited engagement through Aug. 4 and feature direction by Anderson Davis and Scheel with choreography by Andrew Palermo.

The show, according to press notes, "features music and clips from Anderson's 'Magnolia' (Grammy and Oscar nominated soundtrack), 'Punch Drunk Love,' 'There Will Be Blood,' as well as the Dirk Diggler disco-fueled 'Boogie Nights,' which scored two hit soundtrack releases."

Audiences can expect to hear "Sister Christian," "Brand New Key," "Jesse's Girl," "Save Me," "Wise Up," "One," "Boogie Shoes," "God Only Knows," "Aint No Stoppin' Us Now" and more. Musical direction and arrangements are by Bratten.

For the Record: Boogie Nights features a rotating cast from stage, record and screen, including Marcy Harriel ("Death Proof," Rent, In The Heights), Ginifer King ("Struck By Lightning," Gypsy, Steel Magnolias), Peter Porte (CBS' "The Young and the Restless"), Davis (South Pacific, Les Misérables), Max Ehrich (Newsies), Rogelio Douglas Jr. (In The Heights, The Little Mermaid), Von Smith ("American Idol"), Tom Lowe (West End's Les Misérables, Cats), Lisa Datz (The Full Monty), Jackie Seiden ("New Year's Eve," Hairspray), Steve Mazurek, Dionne Gipson, Justin Mortelliti, Lindsey Gort, Juliette Goglia and Jason Paige.

The For the Record series occurs year round and has included For The Record: Coen Brothers, For The Record: Tarantino in Concert, For the Record: John Hughes (Holiday Road) and For The Record: Baz Luhrmann. The performance schedule for Boogie Nights is Thursday-Saturday at 9 PM.
