News For the Record: Tarantino in Concert Will Feature Tracie Thoms, Barrett Foa, Anneliese van der Pol and More For the Record, the "one-of-a-kind Hollywood" musical revue conceived and directed by Chris Bratten and Shane Scheel, will continue with a showcase of the movies of Quentin Tarantino in Tarantino in Concert, beginning Sept. 29 at Los Angeles' Show at Barre.

For the Record: Tarantino in Concert, set for an official opening Oct. 5, will play a limited engagement through Nov. 12.

The show, according to press notes, "takes audiences on a musical journey through 25 years of pulse pounding movie magic. Unquestionably a master of modern American film, Tarantino has also mastered the art of the movie soundtrack with song choices that have helped define his signature style. This 25th anniversary retrospective highlights hit Tarantino directed films including 'Reservoir Dogs,' 'Pulp Fiction,' 'Jackie Brown,' 'Four Rooms,' 'Kill Bill' Vol. 1 and 2, 'Death Proof' and 'Inglourious Basterds.'"

For the Record: Tarantino in Concert begins at 9 PM and features a rotating cast from stage, record and screen. The rotating cast includes Tracie Thoms (Rent), Anneliese van der Pol (Beauty and the Beast), Barrett Foa (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Jackie Tohn ("Platinum Hit"), Kristolyn Lloyd ("Bold And The Beautiful"), Von Smith ("American Idol"), Rogelio Douglas Jr. (In the Heights), Ginifer King (Gypsy), Jason Paige, Darryl Semira (Mamma Mia!), Anderson Davis (South Pacific), Steve Mazurek ("Hawthorne"), Ben Goldberg ("ER"), Melissa Tang ("CSI"), Lisa Datz (The Full Monty), Danielle Truitt ("The Princess and the Frog") Tawny Dolley, Dionne Gipson, Ra Shonda M. Johnson, Tinuke Oyefule and Margaret M. Spirito.

The For The Record series occurs year round and has included For The Record: Coen Brothers, For The Record: John Hughes and For The Record: Baz Luhrmann.
