News Forbidden Broadway Extends Run at London's Menier Chocolate Factory The current London stand of Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway has extended its run by a fortnight, to end Aug. 30. It was previously booking through Aug. 16.

This updated version of the show showcases productions including The Book of Mormon, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Once, Matilda, Wicked and Miss Saigon.

The cast comprises Anna-Jane Casey and Sophie-Louise Dann (both of whom previously appeared in the 2009 edition of Forbidden Broadway at the Menier), Damian Humbley and Ben Lewis.

The production is directed by Phillip George, with musical direction by Joel Fram, sets and costumes by Morgan Large and sound by Gareth Owen.

Forbidden Broadway is presented by the Menier Chocolate Factory in association with John Freedson and Harriet Yellin.
