Forever Tango, the Broadway revue which traced the history and forms of Argentina's best known and sexiest dance form, ends its holiday return to San Francisco, Dec. 31. Performances began Dec. 20 at Theatre on the Square, where the show first found itself back in 1994. From Theatre on the Square, where it ran 92 weeks, Forever Tango made its way through Europe, Japan and the United States, settling on Broadway in June, 1997, where it ran more than a year. Created by Luis Bravo, Forever Tango features popular Argentine songs and forms of the tango, taking the dance from its beginnings at turn-of-the-century bordellos to the steps the world recognizes today.
