News Fox Valley Repertory Theater Forced to Close The Chicago Tribune reports that Fox Valley Repertory Theater in St. Charles, IL, has been "forced to close" this week due to "unexpected circumstances." Ticket sales have been discontinued, and the theatre will be unable to produce performances for the remainder of the 2015 and 2016 season.

No further details were immediately available.

The cancellation also includes currently running productions, such as Maybe, Baby, It's You, which was scheduled to run through Oct. 25.

Fox Valley Repertory also ran a performing arts academy and summer camps for children. Fall classes were set to start mid-September.

The company website states that it has made arrangements with Paramount Theater in Aurora, IL, for its patrons to receive $20 off a single ticket to A Christmas Story or a three-show subscription, which includes A Christmas Story, Hairspray and West Side Story.

The website does not state whether or not refunds will be given to patrons who purchased tickets for upcoming shows.
