News Frank Wood to Join August: Osage County June 17 Frank Wood, the Tony Award-winning veteran of Side Man, will step into the dysfunctional extended family of August: Osage County on June 17, playing Jeff Perry's role of Bill Fordham.

Wood won a Tony and Drama League Award for Side Man (and played it in the West End and Australia). His film credits include "Dan in Real Life," "Thirteen Days," "Michael Clayton" and more. He has appeared at over 20 Off-Broadway and regional theatres.

For Side Man, Wood won the Tony Award as Best Featured Actor in a Play. In August, he will play the hapless husband of Amy Morton's formidable Barbara.

Also on June 17, Robert Foxworth will step into the August role of Charlie, succeeding original cast member Francis Guinan, and Jim True-Frost joins the troupe as Little Charles.

Directed by Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award winner Anna D. Shapiro, Tracy Letts' Pulitzer Prize-winning August: Osage County is the "explosively funny comedy-drama focusing on the Weston family following the disappearance of the family's patriarch."

The Steppenwolf Theatre production of August has been nominated for seven 2008 Tony Awards.

Performances play The Music Box Theatre, 239 West 45th Street.

August: Osage County performs Tuesday-Friday at 7:30 PM, matinees on Wednesday and Saturdays at 2 PM, Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM. Tickets can be purchased at Telecharge.com, or by calling (212) 239-6200.
