KTC artistic director Rachel Lampert directs Rachel Burttram and Brandon Morris, who have both been seen on television's "Burn Notice," as the respective title characters. 

Here's how the work is described: "A terrific and enduring play about two 40-somethings whose first date is like a thunderstorm, with lightning strikes of emotion, sexuality, and - maybe - love. From the pen of one of the most treasured playwrights, this is a treatise on possibilities." Performances continue through Sept. 16.

Other members of the creative team include scenic designer Kent Goetz, lighting designer Tyler M. Perry, costume designer Amara Kopakova, sound designer Michael Doliner, properties designer Abigail Smith and production stage manager LaShawn Keyser. 

The 2012-13 season also includes Michael Hollinger's Opus (Oct. 17-Nov. 11); the world premiere of HBO def poet Brian Dykstra's solo event, Selling Out (Nov. 28-Dec. 16); Matthew Lopez's Civil War drama The Whipping Man (Jan. 23-Feb. 10); Catherine Trieschmann's Crooked (Feb. 27-March 17); Stephen Adly Guirgis' comedy Motherf**cker with the Hat (April 10-28); and Alice Eve Cohen's What I Thought I Knew (June 12-30).
