Directed, hosted and produced by John Znidarsic, the free evening will celebrate the work of composer-lyricist Tommy Newman. Show time is 6 PM.
Vocalists will include the cast of Band Geeks!, which is currently playing Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre: Jared Gertner, Katie Klaus, Tommar Wilson, Patti Murin Holbrook, Nkruma Gatling, Matt Braver, Mike Millan, F. Michael Haynie, Jacey Powers, Ruthie Ann Miles, Jill Abramovitz and Michael Winther. Also taking part in the free evening will be Jim Moye, Allison Briner, Chris Critelli, Melissa Wolfklain and Lindsay Mendez.
Band Geeks! features music by Mark Allen, Gaby Alter and Tommy Newman, and lyrics by Alter and Newman. The book is by Newman and Greenberg. The concept is by Newman.
The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Bruno Walter Auditorium is located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street.
