News Free Book Party and Signing Celebrates "Brilliant Broadway Artwork" Nov. 18 The Drama Book Shop will host a free party and signing Nov. 18 to celebrate the new book "A Must See! Brilliant Broadway Artwork."

Written by Steven Suskin, the Chronicle Books tome presents a visual array of artwork from such illustrators as Al Hirshfeld, William Steig, Peter Arno, Alberto Vargas and Norman Rockwell. "A Must See!" covers more than 50 years of theatre and features 175 pieces of Broadway artwork. The book celebration is set to begin at 6 PM. "A Must See! Brilliant Broadway Artwork" spotlights the hits — Oklahoma!, A Streetcar Named Desire — as well as the flops: Kelly, Carrie. Author Suskin also offers insider information and juicy asides.

Steven Suskin is a longtime theatrical manager and producer. He has written extensively about theatre and music and lives in New York City. He also writes a bi-monthly column for Playbill On-Line, "On the Record."
