Directed, hosted and produced by John Znidarsic, the free evening will spotlight the songs from two new musicals: The Bootlegger & the Rabbi’s Daughter and TINK! Show time is 6 PM.

The Bootlegger & the Rabbi’s Daughter, which has book and lyrics by Tajlei Levis and music by John Mercurio, will feature David Bonanno, Russell Koplin, Zachary Prince, Bruce Winant and Amy Blackman. Mary Kate Burke directs.

The musical, according to press notes, is described as such: "It’s 1920—In the first year of Prohibition, New York City has gone dry and there’s money to be made by anyone who can get hold of some hooch. When an enterprising Italian immigrant discovers a synagogue full of sacramental wine, he convinces the Rabbi to take him on as a yeshiva student. It’s the perfect cover for monetizing the Manischewitz—until he falls for the Rabbi’s daughter."

The cast of TINK!, featuring music by Kevin M. Cotter and book and lyrics by by Diane Uniman, will include Alicia Sable, Jason Mills, Joanna V. Howard, Bryan Austermann, Vincent DiGeronimo and Devin Ilaw.

TINK! is described as a "new romantic musical comedy that’s a fun & campy take on the Peter Pan story from Tink’s point of view. Tink loves Peter but the dude’s absolutely clueless. When she transforms into a real live bombshell to win Peter’s love, the fate of Neverland, and the world, is in jeopardy."

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Bruno Walter Auditorium is located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street.
