The 7 PM reading at the West 54th Street venue features the talents of Ari Graynor, Logan Marshall-Green, Lucas Papaelias and Katherine Waterston. Trip Cullman directs. The Jesus Year, according to press notes, is described as such: "When New Yorker Max Walsh's thirty-third birthday sends him into spiritual crisis, he takes off on a pilgrimage to Los Angeles. Can a pink-haired bartender with a Magdalene complex and a recovering addict with a fancy car help him find redemption? A story of the desert, the city, and solace."

Playwright Berman's Hunting and Gathering will premiere at Primary Stages in 2008. She has also had productions of her work mounted at Second Stage Theater, The Play Company, New Georges and Naked Angels.

Although the reading is free, reservations are required by calling (212) 977-1700 or by e-mailing [email protected]. Ars Nova is located in Manhattan at 511 West 54th Street; for more information visit www.arsnovanyc.com.
