News Free Reading of David Rimmer's New York Will Be Presented Dec. 3; Casting Announced Group Theatre Too will present a free reading of David Rimmer's New York Dec. 3 at Samuel French.

The 6 PM reading will feature the talents of Jennifer Laine Williams as the psychiatrist, Phoebe Van Dusen, Scott Price, Skyler Pinkerton, Kathleen Peirce, Megan Berg, Tom Tinelli, Jim Fyfe, Bobby Ferriera, Toni Robison-May, Samanthat Strelitz, Ilana Becker and Glynnis O'Connor.

A discussion will follow the reading.

The play, according to press notes, "focuses on a psychiatrist and her 14 patients, each of whom has a story to tell. They’re full of hope, anger, sadness, humor, and all share the same strong feelings of resilience, recovery and courage that were the fabric of people’s lives during those difficult days. Each story, each scene, depicts a very clear, positive step towards healing and becoming whole again."

Group Theatre Too will collect contributions of canned foods, household items and other donations for Hurricane Sandy victims. These contributions will go directly to the families affected on East 112th in Far Rockaway.

Samuel French is located at 45 West 25th Street, 2nd Floor. To make a reservation contact Justin Boccitto at (917) 880-7724 or [email protected].
