Directed by Pamela Hunt with musical direction by Matt Castle, the readings will be presented April 7 at 7 PM and April 8 at 3 PM and 7 PM. The cast will feature Ron Bohmer (Ragtime), Tim Jerome (Tarzan), Jennifer Sheehan (The Radio City Christmas Spectacular) and Nick Spangler (The Fantasticks). In Love with Jobim features a concept and book by Ernest Chambers with music by Antonio Carlos Jobim and English lyrics by Norman Gimbel, Gene Lees, Ray Gilbert, Jon Hendricks, Jessie Cavanaugh and Antonio Carlos Jobim.

In Love with Jobim is described as a "one-act romantic comedy featuring some of the greatest songs of our time. Antonio Carlos Jobim's beloved music sets the score for this story of a love triangle full of humor and heart." Songs include “The Girl from Ipanema,” “Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars” and “One Note Samba.”

The readings will be presented at the York's home at The Theatre at Saint Peter's on 54th Street, east of Lexington Avenue. Although the readings are free, reservations are required by calling (212) 935-5824, ext. 24.
