News Free Songbook Series Will Kick Off 18th Season Oct. 27 at NYPL's Bruno Walter Auditorium The acclaimed Songbook series — produced, directed and hosted by John F. Znidarsic — has found a new home for its 18th season: The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Bruno Walter Auditorium.

The new season of the series, which is presented by Arts and Artists at St. Paul's, will kick off Oct. 27. The free 6 PM concert will feature new songs penned by up-n-coming composers and lyricists. Attendees will hear tunes written by Gaby Alter, Rick Flores, Eric Genuis, Adam Gwon, Sean Hartley, Marcy Heisler, Sophie Jaffe, Kait Kerrigan, Kyoung-Ae Kang, Sean Keough, David Kirshenbaum, Brian Lowdermilk, Paul Mills, Ben Moore, Joel B. New, Benjamin Pasek, Justin Paul, Rob Rokicki, Danielle Trzciniski and Jay Zimmerman.

Performers will include Farah Alvin, Sandy Binion, Jennifer Blood, Ellen Bullinger, Justin Daniel, Richard Danley, Cait Doyle, Glory Hampton, Barry James, Michael Lowney, Laurne Marcus, Kevin Massey, Anthony and Will Nunziata, John Prestianni, Jason Robinson, Graham Stevens, Jared Weiss and Helene York.
