News Friends for Japan Benefit to Feature Marty Thomas, Jennifer DiNoia, Russell Fischer, Marissa Rosen Friends for Japan, a June 6 benefit concert for Save the Children, will be presented at Theater 54 at Shelter Studios in Manhattan.

Currently scheduled to perform are Marty Thomas (Xanadu, My Big Gay Italian Wedding), Jennifer DiNoia (Wicked), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Marissa Rosen (My Big Gay Italian Wedding), David R. Gordon (Altar Boyz, Grease The Musical), Ashley Moniz (9 to 5/Legally Blonde), Austin Owen (Memphis), Brett Teresa (Bratt Camp), the cast of Bobby Cronin's musical Daybreak (Paul Wyatt, Tricia Tanguy, David R. Gordon and Jennifer DiNoia) and BDC's youth performance group, Arts In Motion. The evening will begin at 7:15 PM with a silent auction followed by the 8 PM performance.

Proceeds will be donated to Save The Children to aid in their efforts to restore education and childcare in Japan.
