NY Musical Theatre Fest Friendship, Hormones and Popcorn: Little By Little Receives a NYMF Concert at Makor Little By Little, a new musical about friendship, hormones and popcorn, will receive a concert staging in association with the New York Musical Theatre Festival at Makor/Steinhardt Center.

The performance will take place Sept. 25 at 8 PM. Tickets are $20.

According to a synopsis, three childhood pals end up in a tricky love triangle that will change their friendship – and their lives -- forever. The musical was originally seen in New York at The York Theatre.

The cast includes Jana Ballard and Jenny Powers. Jenny Powers, recently seen as Meg in Little Women, was also part of the New York City Center Encores! staging of George and Ira Gershwin's Of Thee I Sing.

The creative team includes Brad Ross (Composer), Ellen Greenfield and Hal Hackady (Lyricist), Annette Jolles and Ellen Greenfield (Writer), Jess McLeod (Director) and Josh Clayton (Musical Director).

Hal Hackady wrote lyrics for the Broadway musicals Minnie’s Boys, Goodtime Charley, Teddy & Alice and I>Ambassador. He was the lyricist for the Off-Broadway musical Snoopy.
