News FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award Winners Announced Plays by Jason Schafer, Laura Schellhardt and Mary Adkins are among the winners of the 2009 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Awards, presented Aug. 30.

The Overall Excellence honors were announced as part of the closing ceremony of the 13th annual New York International Fringe Festival at the Gramercy Theatre. The 2009 FringeNYC ran Aug. 14-30.
