Directed by Kenneth Roberson with choreography by Lorna Ventura, the cast will feature Curtis Holbrook (Frog), Hanley Smith (Princess Clementine), Joseph Dellger (King Frederic), Terry Burrell (Queen Margot), Theis Weckesser (Claus) and Manna Nichols (Hortense).
Frog Kiss features book and lyrics by Charles Leipart with music composed by Eric Schorr. The new musical, based on the Stephen Mitchell novella, "The Frog Prince," is described as such: "When a very scientific princess meets a frog, she is determined to turn him into a prince – with the assistance of a troupe of Celestial Tap-Dancing Taoist Masters. Will Clementine get the prince of her dreams, or will she find herself in bed with just another horny toad?"
The creative team also includes scenic designer Jesse Poleshuck, costume designer Austin Sanderson, lighting designer Joshua Scherr, sound designers Christopher Cronin and Carl Casella, musical director Zane Mark and orchestrator Daryl Waters. Actress Tamara Tunie is serving as production advisor.
Performances are also scheduled for Oct. 4 at 9 PM, Oct. 6 at 5 PM, Oct. 10 at 7:30 PM and Oct. 11 at 1 PM.
