Frozen and Book of Mormon Star Josh Gad Tapped for HBO Pilot Avenue 5

Tony-nominated Book of Mormon and Frozen star Josh Gad has joined the cast of the new HBO comedy pilot Avenue 5 from Veep creator Armando Iannucci, according to Deadline.

Iannucci will direct, write, and produce the series that takes place in space, sometime in the future.

Gad will play billionaire Herman Judd, the man behind the Avenue 5 brand, which ranges from hotels and fitness clubs to space tourism.

Also cast are Hugh Laurie, Zach Woods, Rebecca Front, and Suzy Nakamura.
