News Full Cast Announced for New Tour of Ghost the Musical The full cast has been announced for the new U.K. tour of Ghost the Musical, adapted from the 1990 film "Ghost" with a score by Dave Stewart (of the Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard. Performances will begin April 8 at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff for a run through April 27.

After Cardiff, it tours to the New Wimbledon Theatre in Southwest London (April 30-May 11), Edinburgh's Playhouse (May 14-June 1), Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre (June 3-15), Grand Theatre in Leeds (June 17-29), Manchester's Opera House (July 2-20) and Southampton's Mayflower (Oct. 29-Nov. 9).

The cast is led by Stewart Clarke as Sam Wheat, Rebecca Trehearn as Molly Jensen and Wendy Mae Brown as Otis Mae Brown, the psychic who reunites them after Sam's murder. Also in the cast are Keisha Atwell (Louise), Ivan De Freitas (Willie Lopez), Stevie Hutchinson (Subway Ghost), David Roberts (Carl Bruner) and Karlene Wray (Clara), with an ensemble that comprises Maeve Byrne, Michael Cortez, Kimmy Edwards, Gabrielle Garcia, Nick Hayes, Bradley Jaden, Gregor Stewwart, Amy Webb, Amy West and Luke Wilson. Swings are Jaye Elster, Livvy Evans, Robert Knight and Michael Stewart.

Clarke's stage credits include Loserville at the Garrick Theatre, Sweeney Todd at the Rose Theatre, Songs For a New World at the Bridewell Theatre and Parade at the Lowry.

Trehearn's stage credits include Alfie the Musical at the Palace Theatre, Watford, We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre, Dirty Dancing at the Aldwych Theatre, Aspects Of Love at the Menier Chocolate Factory, Love Story at the Duchess Theatre, Bernarda Alba at the Union Theatre, and Ghost The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre.

Brown's stage credits include Kiss Me Kate at the Old Vic and Chichester Festival Theatre, Rent at the Prince of Wales Theatre/Prince Edward Theatre and UK tour, To Kill a Mockingbird at Theatre Clwyd and UK tour, Mamma Mia! at the Prince Edward Theatre and Porgy and Bess at the Savoy Theatre. The musical, which premiered at Manchester's Opera House in May 2010, prior to transferring to the West End's Piccadilly Theatre in July that year, ran through Oct. 6, 2012. The Broadway incarnation, which played at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, was much shorter-lived, running March-August 2012, playing 39 previews and 136 regular performances.

Bruce Joel Rubin adapted his original screenplay (for which he won the oscar for Best Original Screenplay) for the stage production. Directed by Matthew Warchus, it has set and costume designs by Rob Howell, musical supervision and arrangements by Christopher Nightingale, illusions by Paul Kieve, choreography by Ashley Wallen, video and projection designs by Jon Driscoll, lighting by Hugh Vanstone and sound by Bobby Aitken. 

The UK tour is being produced by David Ian Productions and the Ambassador Theatre Group and is under license from Colin Ingram and Hello Entertainment/David Garfinkle in association with Paramount Pictures.
