News Full Cast Announced for U.K. Premiere of Annie Baker's Circle Mirror Transformation The full cast has been announced for the U.K. premiere of Annie Baker's Circle Mirror Transformation, which begins performances July 5 prior to an official opening July 11, at the Rose Lipman Building in Haggerston, London, as part of the Royal Court’s Theatre Local project.

Joining the previously announced Imelda Staunton and Toby Jones are Shannon Tarbet, Danny Webb and Fenella Woolgar.

In the play, five lost people come together at a community centre class to try to find some meaning in their lives. Counting to ten can be harder than you think, and over six tangled weeks their lives become knotted together.

The play, which premiered at Playwrights Horizons in New York in 2009, will be directed by James Macdonald, designed by Chloe Lamford with lighting by Peter Mumford and sound by Carolyn Downing.

Staunton, who plays Marty, the workshop leader, was last seen on the London stage in Sweeney Todd, for which she won this year's Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Other recent credits include A Delicate Balance and There Came a Gypsy Riding (both at the Almeida) and Entertaining Mr. Sloane at Trafalgar Studios. Film credits include the title role in "Vera Drake," for which she was Oscar-nominated, and "Another Year," both directed by Mike Leigh.

Jones, who plays Schultz, has been seen onstage in The Painter (Arcola), Every Good Boy Deserves Favour (National) and Parlour Song (Almeida). TV credits include "The Girl," "Titanic" and "Doctor Who," and on film in "Berberian Sound Studio," "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" and the "Harry Potter" series. Tarbet, who plays Lauren, made her stage debut at the Royal Court in 2010 with Spur of the Moment by Anya Reiss. Recent credits include To Kill A Mockingbird at the Royal Exchange, Mary Shelley for Shared Experience and Mogadishu at the Royal Exchange and Lyric Hammersmith.

Webb, who plays James, Marty’s husband, most recently appeared at the Royal Court in The Witness and Chicken Soup with Barley. Other recent credits include Troilus and Cressida at the RSC and Blasted at the Lyric Hammersmith.

Woolgar, who plays Theresa, last appeared at the Royal Court in Motortown. Recent stage credits include Hedda Gabler and The Real Thing at the Old Vic and The Veil at the National Theatre.

Baker has previously been represented in the U.K. by The Aliens, seen at the Bush in 2010. Her most recent play The Flick was seen at New York's Playwrights Horizons. Macdonald's previous directorial credits at the Royal Court include the world premieres of Caryl Churchill's Love and Information (which he will re-direct at New York Theatre Workshop in 2014) and Drunk Enough to Say I Love You (also at New York's Public Theater), Mike Bartlett's Cock (subsequently also Off-Broadway) and Sarah Kane's Blasted and 4.48 Psychosis.
