Casting for the eagerly awaited musical The Full Monty, has been announced.
British showbiz icon Dora Bryan will play pianist Jeanette Burmeister and original Broadway cast members Jason Danieley, Andre De Shields, John Ellison Conlee, Romain Frugé and Marcus Neville will recreate the roles they originated in New York.
The lead role of Jerry Lukowski goes to Jarrod Emick - star of productions of Miss Saigon and Damn Yankees.
As with the Broadway production, the setting has been changed from the original one (in the bestselling British film) of Sheffield to Buffalo, New York State - a similar steel town to Sheffield.
The musical has a book by Terence McNally and music and lyrics by David Yazbeck. The creative team for the Broadway production will travel to London to work on the West End production, which previews at the Prince of Wales Theatre from Feb. 27 and will open on March 12.
