The song was written by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, who will be represented on Broadway this spring with the new musical Sister Act. The gentle love ballad is performed by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi as the walled-in, golden-haired heroine Rapunzel and the dashing bandit Flynn Ryder, respectively.
Clips from all songs on the "Tangled" soundtrack have been released on Amazon.com. In addition to Moore and Levi, two-time Tony Award winner Donna Murphy is also heard as the villainous Mother Gothel.
