Abramovitz (Fame Becomes Me, The Yellow Wood, Junie B. Jones) stars as Fanny Brice in a cast that also features Grant Norman as Nicky Arnstein, Kilty Reidy as Eddie Ryan, Louisa Flaningam as Mrs. Brice, Gary Lemkueler as Florenze Zeigfeld, Dawn Newman as Emma, Karen McDonald as Mrs. Strakosh and Roger Preston Smith as Mr. Keeney.
The ensemble includes Mark Donaldson, Debi Guthery, Synthia Link, Benji Randall, Rusty Reynolds, Morgan Rose, Kimberly Schafer, Steve Schepis, Hayley Sharples, Karla Shook, Kent Zimmerman and Darcy Yellin.
Funny Girl has musical direction by Jeff Tanski and a design team including Steve Loftus (set design), Andrew Gmoser (lighting design), Jon Hatton (sound design) and Matthew Hemesath (costume design).
The 1964 musical, which earned Barbra Streisand a Tony nomination and an Oscar for the subsequent film, follows the career and personal life of legendary comedienne Fanny Brice.
