News Furry Friends Benefit to Feature Blackhurst, Babcock, Nixon, Rice and Wilson Love Makes the World Go 'Round is the title of an upcoming concert to benefit the animal rescue organization Zani's Furry Friends.

The May 9 concert at Birdland will be hosted by Klea Blackhurst and Jim Caruso. Show time is 5 PM. Currently scheduled to perform are John Babcock, Raissa Katona Bennett, Christina Bianco, Phil Geoffrey Bond, Emily Buttner, Edd Clark, Lynn Cohen, Michael Cone, Rich Flanders, Rob Gardner, Janice Hall, Julie Kent, Marni Nixon, Sarah Rice and Julie Wilson.

Singers will be accompanied by Eric Sedgwick, piano; Paul Stephan, piano; Amy Ralske, cello; Roger Mapes, guitar; and Bill Latimer, banjo. Peter Napolitano directs.
