Inhabiting the 1977-set work are Lawrence James, Gil Charleston, Kwaku Driskell, Barry L. Johnson, Franck Juste, Ivan Moore, Iman Richardson, Terrence Charles Rogers and Lawrence Winslow.

The drama, which played an Off-Broadway run in 2000, will run through April 3. Director Simmons last appeared on Broadway in Tennessee Williams' Not About Nightingales and Off-Broadway in Howard Korder's Search and Destroy.

The production will have scenic design by Brian Ireland, costume design by Sara Baldocchi-Byrne and lighting design Porsche McGovern.
