News Gattelli to Direct B.R.A.T.S. Reading with Fleming and Richard A by-invitation-only reading of B.R.A.T.S. The Musical will be offered June 18 at the Manhattan Theatre Club.

Presented by the New York Theatre Barn, the reading will feature direction by Christopher Gattelli (Altar Boyz, High Fidelity). The cast will include Don Richard (Jane Eyre, Urinetown), Brad Bass (Wicked), Jenny Dinoia (Mamma Mia!), Adam Fleming (Hairspray, Wicked), Ryan Weiss (Wicked) and Kate Loprest (The Drowsy Chaperone).

B.R.A.T.S. was written by Bobby Cronin, the artistic director of Ergo Theatre Company. His other works include That's Andy and From This Day Forward.

Cronin's new musical, according to press notes, is an "hilarious and moving contemporary musical [that] follows six troubled teens sent to a wilderness boot camp. Will they remain the burdened, reckless, adolescent troubled souls that they are or will they conquer their demons in time to go home for Christmas?"

A previous reading of B.R.A.T.S. was presented in December 2006 in Chicago by the Porchlight Music Theatre.
