“The Broadway community is an influential industry that, at its core, stands for inclusive principles – among them equality, artistic expression, and celebrating the diversity of others,” stated the team at Broadway for Hillary. “We feel that Hillary Clinton and her campaign's values mirror these ideals and felt it vital to bring together those working in the industry – both onstage and off – for a day of volunteering on behalf of the campaign.”

The goal of Broadway Calls for Clinton is to “create awareness of the importance of calling, and to highlight the amazing tool that the Clinton campaign has launched to make calling from anywhere easy.” In addition to calling those on the campaign’s list, the event consists of training and education from campaign staff about “further steps that can be taken, both as a group and individually, to raise awareness and highlight ways for those at home to help the campaign.”

Broadway Calls for Clinton is organized by Rian Patrick Durham, Sally Cade Holmes and Robb Nanus.
