Scent of Rain is set in rural America and deals with the dying patriarch of an all-male family who wants to know that his sons are happily married before he passes on. The two older straight boys are married to twin sisters, but their younger brother is "special" and his father is concerned that he'll go through life alone--unless they can find him a husband. With the assistance of the family's hired hand (Idol), the family's comical attempts at matchmaking produce the gay version of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers."

Dunn has written several plays for the gay theatre, including Ten Per Cent in Maple Grove. Trettenero recently directed Late Night Catechism in Hollywood.

The Tiffany Theatre is located at 8532 Sunset Blvd. For tickets and information call (310) 289- 2999
