Weddings of Mass Destruction, a satire with songs and sketches about same-sex marriage in America, will be held August 12-28.

The show, created by GayCo Productions of Chicago, is described as a "satirical attack on the state of our union: political, poignant, and heartbreakingly hilarious, this comedy revue charms while it goes for the jugular: Iraqis wreak homo-rific Abu Graib revenge; The Queer Eye guys transform into pink-faced minstrels; Alyssa Milano gets her lesbian torch-song homage; A lesbian treats her party guests to a horrific game of Old Maid.

The revue consists of comedy scenes and satirical songs that explore America as a land where everyone, both heterosexuals and homosexuals, struggles equally to connect with everyone else.

GayCo Productions is credited as the show's writer, along with additional material by Matt Elwell and Mary Beth Burns. The cast includes Jim Bennett, John Bonny, Andy Eninger, Judy Fabjance, Celeste Pechous, and Mandy Price.

Shows are at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, at 121 Christopher Street. For ticket and schedule info call 212-279-4488 or visit www.fringenyc.org(http://www.fringenyc.org/).
