George Hamilton, who will rejoin the Broadway company of Chicago on June 4, will guest on "Live With Regis & Kelly" May 30. The film actor — now on screen in Woody Allen's "The Hollywood Ending" — will discuss his return to the role of Billy Flynn in Kander and Ebb's Chicago on the ABC talkfest, which airs at 9 AM ET. Hamilton, who made his Broadway debut in that role in Nov. 2001, will stay with the hit musical through July 28. Ron Raines played his last performance as Flynn on May 19, and Eric Jordan Young stars in the part that won James Naughton a Tony until Hamilton joins the company.
A star of feature films, Hamilton will soon be seen opposite Joe Mantegna and Danny Aiello in "Off Key." Among his other movie credits are "The Godfather Part III," "Doc Hollywood," "Love at First Bite" and "Zorro, the Gay Blade." Hamilton's theatrical credits include Love Letters, The Philadelphia Story, Barefoot in the Park and Gigi.
