The Danger Year, according to press notes, "charts one year of calamity, upheaval and rebirth in the lives of five interconnected characters."

Presenting the show in concert form, composer-lyricist Stitt is joined by Kate Baldwin, Derrick Baskin, Ta'Rea Campbell, Jeremy Jordan, Caitlin Kinnunen, Zak Resnick, Elena Shaddow, Jessica Vosk, EJ Zimmerman and more as well as five students from Pace University: Will Bellamy, Cody Boehm, Courtney Kofoed, David Park and Alina Stephenson.

Directed by Brown, the score is presented publicly in New York City for the first time following a successful West End debut last fall at London's Garrick Theatre.

Stitt serves as pianist and music director for a band that includes Randy Landau on bass, Simon Kafka on guitar, Shannon Ford on drums, Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf on cello and Victoria Paterson on violin.

Stitt is a composer/lyricist and a music producer. In addition to The Danger Year, she wrote Big Red Sun (NAMT, Arlen Award with John Jiler), Samantha Spade: Ace Detective (commissioned by TADA! with Lisa Diana Shapiro), The Water (with Jeff Hylton and Tim Werenko) and Mosaic (with Cheri Steinkellner), and she is at work on a new project with director Molly Smith at Arena Stage.
