Gets is celebrating the release of his CD, "The Journey Home," on the PS Classics label. Composer/pianist/Emmy winner John McDaniel is the musical director for the evening, which features Tom Hubbard on bass, Rich Mercurio on drums and Peter Sachon on cello.

Melissa Errico, who co-starred with Gets in Broadway's Amour, is the concert's special guest.

Malcolm Gets has appeared in New York in The Story of My Life, Amour (Tony and Drama Desk nominations), The Moliere Comedies, A New Brain, Merrily We Roll Along (Drama Desk nomination and Obie Award), The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Obie Award), Hello Again, Boys and Girls, Polish Joke, Finian's Rainbow, Juno and for Encores!, both The Boys From Syracuse and The Apple Tree. His films include "Thirteen Conversations About One Thing," "Love in the Time of Money," "Adam and Steve," "Sex and the City" and the new HBO film of "Grey Gardens," in which he stars opposite Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore.

An accomplished musician, composer, orchestrator and conductor, John McDaniel has worked on such Broadway shows as Grease!, Brooklyn, Taboo, Patti LuPone on Broadway and the Tony-winning revival of Annie Get Your Gun. He received two Daytime Emmy Awards for his work on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and also garnered a Grammy Award for Annie Get Your Gun. He has released three solo "John McDaniel at the Piano" recordings as well as "John McDaniel Live at Joe's Pub."
