News "Glee" Creator Ryan Murphy and David Miller Become Parents "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy and his husband, photographer David Miller, became fathers Dec. 24. The couple have announced the birth of their son, Logan Phineas Miller Murphy, according to Out.com.

Murphy ("American Horror Story, "The New Normal") and Miller sent an e-mail to friends and family sharing the good news. It reads, "Logan Phineas Miller Murphy, Born December 24, 2012 9:47 a.m." The couple married last July.

Murphy's new NBC series "The New Normal," about two gay men and the surrogate mother carrying their child, is loosely based on his own experience. The sitcom stars Justin Bartha (Lend Me a Tenor) and Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon).
