News "Glee," Julia Roberts, Neil Patrick Harris, Alec Baldwin Among 2011 People's Choice Award Nominees The 2011 nominees for The People's Choice Awards, which honor achievement in film, music and television, were announced Nov. 10.

Fox's hit musical comedy series "Glee" received a nod for Favorite TV Comedy, with stage vets and "Glee" co-stars Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch getting nominations as Favorite TV Comedy Actor and Actress, respectively. Britney Spears and Neil Patrick Harris made the lists for their "Glee" guest appearances, with Harris (a regular on the sitcom "How I Met Your Mother") also competing with Morrison and fellow stage and screen star Alec Baldwin (of "30 Rock") for Favorite TV Comedy Actor. Other stage vets who made the lists include Julia Roberts, Taye Diggs, Bradley Cooper, Usher, Julianna Margulies and Kate Walsh. "The Social Network," written by A Few Good Men playwright and "West Wing" writer Aaron Sorkin, is in the mix for Favorite Drama Movie, with "Easy A," written by Dog Sees God playwright Bert V. Royal, in the running for Favorite Comedy Movie.

That most theatrical of music superstars, Lady Gaga, showed up in several of the music categories, with former "High School Musical" stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens competing with "Easy A" star Emma Stone and "Twilight" leading lights Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. "Twilight" earned the most nods of any nominee, appearing in eight categories.

The People's Choice Awards will air Jan. 5, 2011, at 9 PM ET on CBS. Queen Latifah will host the ceremony.
